A Sweet September Day.

A little something I wrote a long time ago, enjoy.

And so I hope you remember out love just like a sweet September day.

And we prance around and lay in the sun,

Looking up at its peaceful rays,

Just like a sweet September day. 

But then it got all taken away,

Like the tides and the waves.

A black hole in the middle of our little universe,

Sucking away at our sweet September day.

One after another it came.

It came and took away our sweet September day.

Can you still remember love?

Or has it left your soul from above?

What about our sweet September day?

Us dancing in the rain?

Have you found another sweet September day?

I guess I’ll spend mine alone.

And so I hope you remember out love,

Just like a sweet September day.
