Wet Paint

A crazy, humorous poem. Read if you dare...

I woke up in the strangest place
Where time and sense are not.

With no clue how I got there,
I stood, deep in thought.

I decided then, to look around 
And I saw a giant letter 3.

So I ran around the corner
And I whacked into a tree.

My smile bent and picked me up
And shook me like a doll.

Then it covered me in ketchup
'Til I wasn't red at all.

Then the clouds began to cry
And they begged me not to sing.

I said I'd make no guarantees 
And my head began to ring.

My face became a cuckoo clock 
And I said, "Cuckoo, Ka-caw!"

And a little orange birdie
Bounced around inside my jaw.

I shook my head, I shook it hard
Until it rolled clean off-ly

It fell into some orange crap.
At least, it landed softly!

I tried to reach and grab my head
But it sank into the ground.

The sky turned black
And yelled, "ATTACK!"

And it threw me all around.

Then the orange man inside the fan
Started yelling at my head.

I heard him cry, "Wake up! Wake up!"
"I don't know how!" I said.

Well, I still don't know how I got there-
My socks both agree I'm high.

I guess I should never have come inside
Before the paint was dry!

I tried to make this as randomly crazy as I could. Hope you enjoyed it :)

This poem makes me want to go out and buy a bucket of wet paint. Alice in Wonderland now has renewed meaning for me. Hmm... maybe Lewis Carroll was actually referring to his own experience as a paint sniffer? Lol. Basically, this is a brilliantly crazy poem, so you can consider it mission accomplished. :P
