True beauty lies in all of us. If only we could see...

If only we could see
That true beauty lies within

It's not about who's rich or poor,
It's not who's thick or thin.

It's deep within the purest hearts
And in the truest love.

Purity, compassion.
Not money or fashion
Is what true beauty is made of.

It can be found in each of us
And if we'd look with our hearts, and not just our eyes
We'd find that every one of us
Is beautiful inside.

I'll admit that I didn't spot the rhyme scheme until I went over it a second time - and then I was just completely taken aback when I realized that you managed to pull off a poem with such natural flow and no awkwardness /while/ holding to a specific rhyme scheme. It's much easier to free-verse poems when speaking of such a subject, after all - but you didn't feel the need to dabble in that.

Skillful use of inverted sentences, anaphora, etc. You demonstrate such ease of writing. :)
