October BreezesA Poem by ❀ Gabriela ❀
Bright and crisp, October breezes
Sweep gently through the mottled trees And linger, among heavy branches, To dance with brightly-painted leaves. Fierce and sharp, October breezes Tear savagely through battered trees And, rushing through their tattered branches, Strip them bare of all their leaves. Golden, tranquil autumn mornings. Daylight, passing without warning. As always, with a change of seasons, It’s one part bliss and one part mourning. ... © 2021 ❀ Gabriela ❀Reviews
