Ode to CoffeeA Poem by ❀ Gabriela ❀A short, silly poem with a bit of a twist.
The purr of my Keurig; that marvelous scent
Rings true to the sound of my money well spent. For, with each drop of liquid that falls from the spout, Comes that precious elixir I can't live without. Oh, coffee, sweet coffee- milk, sugar, and all Grants me the nerve and willpower to haul My feet from the floor and my rear from the bed. It eases my mornings, and clears up my head. I relish each cup with the greatest relief. - I'd give the crap up, though, if I could just sleep... © 2016 ❀ Gabriela ❀Reviews
