To Find Wings

And so she laid upon the grass
and gazed up at the sky

And made a wish that one day
she might even learn to fly

And that by faith and focus,
she could reach her dearest goal

And shine just like a star,
and see the light in her own soul.

Her eyes lit up with joy
As she pondered there, these things

And so, with a dream in mind,
she came upon her wings.

I love the fact that there was a rhyming pattern that was unique. Remember everything is one word! I forget that a lot too. It's common to make those simple errors. I did love the message, and could feel the emotions clearly. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work!
