You and I

You and I

A Poem by Lil.Sis5

Though you are gone i still think of you. We had some years, though there were only few. We had some good times you and I. Even though for the longest time I was shy. After a while I grew fond of you. Even though you are gone I still am you little boo. I think us all the time. Especially when you helped me bait the fishing line. You spoiled me when mom and dad weren’t around. You would sit with me on the ground. I know I was small. I know I was young, but I remember you big and tall. Your blue eyes glinted even if they were squinted. You carried me around the house. When we would sneak past grandma we would be as quiet as a mouse. We would run and play in the sun all day. Every night I put my head down to rest and I thought of the days best. I finally fell asleep after thinking of all the memories I get to keep. After years and months of play that day came. Daddy came into my room. His eyes filled with tears and gloom and he told me there was no more you. My eyes started to water and my heart shattered. Everything left of that heart was tattered. Grandma and daddy cried and cried, but I think a part of me died.
