He ran away, vanishing out of thin air. I looked around to see where he went. I was alone again.

“Maria, what are you looking for?” I looked towards me sister who was getting help from a male nurse. He walked her all the way over here and she slyly slid a piece of paper into his hand. Even in the dim light I knew she mouthed the words call me. I rolled my eyes.

“Thanks.” I took Kat and pulled her into the car.  I drove her home before getting out she looked at me with a bit of concern.

“Maria what were you looking at?” She asked.

I avoided her question,” Do you have alcohol poisoning?”

“No, now answer my question. What were you looking at, or looking for?”

“I don’t know, goodnight.” I said. She groaned in frustration and got out of the car, stomping away to her house. I looked at her and for the first time, I was glad she was my sister; she actually made me feel like I had a family. Even though she technically used me every chance she got.

I started my car again, and drove home. I couldn’t wait to hop into bed and sleep. The next morning I woke up and I felt groggy. I walk into my bathroom and took a hot shower hopefully that’ll make me feel better. I stepped into the blazing water and my body immediately relaxed. I showered and washed all the grime off of me. I stepped out dried my hair and my body. I walked into my room and put on a pair of shorts and a red tank top.

After I walked into my kitchen and made myself some breakfast. It was the weekend and I didn’t have to go to work. I made myself some bacon and eggs, with a side of toast. As I ate I tried to remember my night. All I could remember was I dance with a hottie and then I was about to be mugged by a hottie, and I really didn’t get it after that part.

So far I’ve been noticed by two cuties and I knew one of them, wish I had his number. I finished eating throwing my dishes in the sink not bothering to wash them; I went to read a book. I didn’t know what to read so I closed my eyes and picked up a random book. I ended up picking The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong. Yup I liked her books a lot. So I snuggled into my couch and started reading. I didn’t even get to the third page when my doorbell rang.

I got up and went to answer it.

“Hold on, I’m coming.” I said and reached for the handle. I opened the door and gasped, and quickly shut it again. I threw my back against the door and took in deep breaths. I just saw Mr. Hunky God again. I pushed my hair to the side and opened the door again.

“Hi, sorry about that. It’s just that I didn’t expect….well to see you.” I said my face turning a crimson color. He laughed.

“Well I was walking when I saw your friend from the other night, she just gave me your address. So I thought I should drop by.” He said. I was actually thankful for my sister right now. I motioned for him to come in. When he was in front of me I mouthed thank you, and made a mental note to call Kat later.

“Well she isn’t my friend she’s my sister.” I said. He didn’t turn around.

“Really, you don’t look related.” He said as if he already knew we were siblings. I shrugged my shoulders.

“She got all the looks and stuff like that, took after our mom more.” I said and looked down and I forgot that I was wearing these skimpy shorts. I screamed in my head and was about to leave when he turned around and lifted an eyebrow.

“I’m sorry, let me change.” I said. He smiled and shook his head.

“It’s not showing anything you don’t want me to see trust me.” He said. I didn’t know if I should trust him. Then again he came to me instead of my sister. I walked over to my couch and sat down, and I looked at him as read my book.

He lifted an eyebrow and I blushed.

“I know you don’t have to say it.” I said. People usually say I’m weird for liking these kinds of books. I don’t listen to them anyway so why should I care now.

“What do you think I was going to say?” He said looking at me and puts the book down. I looked away and stood up.

“Are you thirsty?” I asked to change the topic. He looked at me and then closed his eyes.

“No I’m fine.” He opened his eyes and I just realized he had the most beautiful, clear blue eyes I’ve ever seen. They kind of didn’t match his skin color, but it just made him more interesting to me. He smiled.

“What?” I asked cautiously.

“Let’s go on a date, right now.” He said standing up. His white ‘v’ neck shirt moved as his muscle flexed to stand up. I was going to go crazy every second I was with him.

“You mean right now, right now?” I asked. He nodded. Thank god I took a shower this morning. I stood there for a moment before answering him. The longer I took, the more he looked afraid I would say no.” Alright.” I said. He smiled.

“I have to change though.” I said while walking to my room. He smiled even wider and nodded.

“Sure take your time.” He said and sat back down, picking up my book again to read it. I shook my head and went to get dressed. I put on a white summer dress, since it was summer after all. It’s weird how it gets really cold at night though. Well it is the state of New York.

I slipped on my black flats and went to brush my teeth for the second time. I looked at my hair and decided to let it be its natural way, wavy. I put on mascara and some lip balm and I was good to go. I walked back out into the living room and he was quietly reading the book I grabbed my purse that wasn’t really a purse. It was just something that hooked around my wrist so no one could take it. I checked my phones battery and it was fully charged.

I stuffed that into my miniature purse and hopped back on the couch next to Michael. He looked up and I smiled.” Ready to go?”

“Yes I am.” He said and he got up. Taking my hand he lifted me up too. I fixed my dress up before walking out the door. I locked up and Michael held out his hand for me to take it. I took his hand and we walked out into the beaming sun. We walked for a bit and I got a little curious to where we were going.

“So where are we going?” I asked. He looked at me and smiled.

“You’ll see.” Was all he said. I gave him a skeptical look but didn’t ask anymore. We walked for about five minutes when we started coming up to my sister’s house. She was outside and she was wearing the skimpiest thing ever.

“You said she was your sister right?” He said, not sure if I was telling the truth. I nodded and looked down. Now I’ll probably be left so he could go hang out with her.

“She should put something on.” He said. I giggled. More out of shock than by what he said. He wasn’t at all interested in Kat. This to me was the most surprising thing in the world.

Kat looked up from what she was doing. I think she was watering her yellow Hibiscus flowers. She waved and I gave her a small wave. Michael did the same and we kept walking. I felt as my cell vibrated and I used my hand that wasn’t wrapped in Michael's to get it.

I had a text from Kat, man she is one quick person. She texted me:

Where r u guys going?

I texted back as best as I could and told her:

Idk he won’t tell me so I’ll txt u l8ter

She sent me a message with a smiley face and put you better tell me. I shook my head and locked my phone putting it back into my little bag. Yeah I’ll totally tell her what happens, yeah right, no way in hell will I’ll tell her. It depends on what happens. We finally made it to the place he wanted to take me, and I was freaking it out. He took me to the fair. There were a few thrill rides and huge Ferris wheel. I looked at him and smiled.

“This is where you wanted to take me?” I asked, he nodded and I jumped in joy. He laughed and took my hand again. “Thank you.” I said and he smiled.

“No problem, I thought I should make our first date special right.” He said. I blushed when he said that. I gripped his hand and started pulling him towards the line to buy a ticket. “Actually, I already have the tickets.”

I looked at him, and he gave me a sheepish grin.

“I was hoping I would see you again, so I bought these just in case.” He said and I giggled. We gave the person our tickets and we went inside. People were screaming and laughing from the rides they were on and prizes they were winning. I looked at the rollercoaster, it looked fun, and okay a bit scary.

“Let’s go on that one.” I said pointing to the ride. He looked at it and looked back at me.

“Are you sure? You’re not scared of heights are you?” He asked. I nodded.

“I’m scared of heights only if we’re not moving, like tall buildings. I can’t be in something and not move around, walking doesn’t help either.” I explained. He gave me a weird expression, saying that’s so weird, kind of look. I shrugged my shoulders.

“Okay, if that’s what you want. Let’s get on that ride.” He said and he pulled me towards the ride. I smiled and we jogged our way to it. We got on line, and waited to get on. It took about ten minutes before we even had the chance to look at the gate that separated us from the ride. I was fidgety.

“What’s wrong?” He asked. I looked at him and smiled.

“I’m not scared; I’m just way too excited to settle down.” I said with a giggled. He rolled his eyes and the gate finally opened and we walked in. We walked to the back of the seats and we sat down. I buckled myself in and so did Michael. Next Michael pulled down the metal bar that kept us from falling out, and it made a clicking sound when it was fully down. I snuggled into Michael’s side and waited for the beast of a machine to start.

As the last of the people sat down and did their safety measures, we were ready to rock and roll. I smiled to myself and gripped Michaels’ hand. He looked down at me and smiled.” Ready?” He asked.

“So ready for this.” I said I made sure the zipper to my bag was closed and everything was safe inside. After that the machine clicked and started moving, I got all giddy.

Our fingers intertwined and I watched as we started rising higher into the air and people were starting to squirm.

We reached the peak of the rollercoaster and we stopped for the shortest of seconds. Then we were speeding down the tracks. Of course I screamed and I buried my face into Michael’s shirt. I felt as his hand gripped tighter to mines and I immediately calmed down. I looked back and I screamed again we had went into a dark tunnel, I mean I’m not scared of the dark, but moving in a speed of ninety miles per hour I will scream as much as I want.

Michael laughed and I couldn’t help but laugh along. I was having so much fun right now. Thank you god for bringing me Michael. I heard as Michael hissed.

“Are you okay?” I screamed, it was really loud due to the other screaming people.

“I’m fine, more thank okay.” He screamed back. I smiled and we came out of the dark tunnel. He was smiling too and his eyes seemed to glow with happiness. The ride slowed down as we came to a stop. We stepped off everyone was wobbly and Michael had gotten off like it was nothing. I stood up and I wobbled almost falling off into the tracks when he caught me.

“Thanks.” I said.

“Don’t mention it.” He said and he easily lifted me out of the car (rollercoaster) and stood me up on flat land. I stumbled a bit before I got used to walking again.

“That was fun.” I said. He laughed.

“You screamed through most of it.” He said and I punched him in the arm.

“Well hello I don’t like heights and plus if I didn’t scream it wouldn’t have been as fun.” I said with a smile, and he rolled his eyes.

“What do you want to go on next?” He asked. I looked around and found the go carts.

“I want to go on the go carts.” I said and he nodded. We walked over there, and people started staring at us. I moved closer to Michael and he took my hand again.
