Burn thick

Burn thick

A Poem by Nicole

Burn thick
The memories we try to forget
Miss the little things you never knew
Until the night i lost you
My hands remember you well
They sketched your face
A story to tell
The eyes that saw my heart
I knew it was you from the start
But i wasnt meant to be
So i move on and think of only me
(Nlr)

I can feel a lot through this piece. I see a lot of my own small memories that still flood me from time to time and that's a good thing, in a way. You've captured the idea and feel of it very well, so well that you probably know it first hand. I really like this one. You've got talent.

thank you so much!
I like the poem. Direct and honest words. I like the words "Burn thick." A strong ending to the excellent poetry.
