Beside the man of my dreams

As I lay beside him

I could feel every toss

I felt every turn

I could smell his comforting scent

I felt a flinch of fear

Pulling him closer to me

Cupping my hand to his cheek

I gazed down at his face

And knew this....

Was more than just a dream
