Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis

A Poem by Method To The Madness
"

Those great big curtains hide the world from me

"

footsteps in snow-

        like      spider

           tracks

shining in dark

no             light          for the north

Curtains of Color

hang

down

from

heavens

window

and curl

with every breath of the earth

and flicker through the color wheel

with every curl of the fabric

if i could pull them back,

with the hands of Andromeda

what would I see?

I would see supernovas

                 nebulas

and            black holes

long dead stars

snatching life

and light

from the stars of youth

i would see the dead dance

anf flit

in and out of

existance

with each dip and twirl the make

i would see

     D       N        A

stretched and unraveled

just to dissprove logic

if i would pull back the curtains

with my own two hands

that lack a stars shine

i would see nothing

Author's Note

Method To The Madness
I always thought that the Northern Lights look kind of like curtains...
Half made for my writers craft class
but I ended up really liking it. :)

Also... The Devil Wears Prada is an awesome band.
