Slam poetry I wrote in class today. People call me cute all the time. And it pisses me off.

i'm cute?

you think I'm cute?

"You're so adorable"

you say

"Your face pisses me off"

i think

but don't worry

i won't say that

no no

i'll smile sweetly and say

"Thank you"

but that's not what I want to say

i want to say

to scream.

"Cute?

why can't I be

sexy?

beautiful?

hot?"

F**K YOU

"Cute as a button"

this button

is going to stuff her fist

down your throat

and choke you

Yah

Cute as a f*****g button.

now that's slam poetry!~ raw and edgy and with no hold back~ served perfectly~
the day I actually verbalized the unwelcome thoughts that would roll all over the place inside the head while I smiled all pained was the day I learned about how humans prefer lies to reality~ I prefer reality~ from big mouth opinionated girl to big mouth opinionated woman~that's me~ =)~
