Timesquare with an angel.

Timesquare with an angel.

A Poem by Winona
"

Quiet love.

"
You're in time square with an angel,
And you can give her all you have.
But she'll never tell you she loves you.
But you can see it,
In the way she stare's a fraction too long,
And smiles at the ground,
Bursting with unspoken adoration.

She's a foreign language, so you speak in tongues.
Tu sonrisa decora la tarde cielo.
But she'll never admit she needs you.
But you can see it,
In the way she sprouts roots in your lungs,
Hoping you can't breath without her.
Never has one word meant as many beautiful things,
As your name means to her.

Her body is synchronized with yours,
The most natural union.
But she'll never tell you she misses you.
But you can see it,
In the way she plants you reminders,
And purposely leaves you drunk with desire,
And blind with hope,
That one day she will admit her complete love.

You're in the alleys of Detroit with an angel,
But you'll never tell her this;
She could make hell feel like home.
But she can see it.
