Looking for a perfect PR is not an easy thing. The first thing to do is to detail down the aspects of the organization and what the company wants to achieve.

. It should be clear on who will be involved in the project developed by the organization. The second thing is to understand on the position of the organization to know what the organization is in need for and what the qualifications of the public relation person are. Another thing is to know the position of the company and what the company wants to achieve in future. The targets of the organization must be established and times plus the budges of the company must be defined before getting the appropriate public relation person for the organization.

            Several questions must be developed and asked to the public relation representative. The first question to ask the PR person is to tell who he or she is and then define what he or she understands with the concept of public relations. Another question for the person is to tell what are his strengths and weakness in the PR setting. He should also answer and review the question of what is the need for the purpose of the PR person in the organization. A public relation person must also answer the qualities that are expected from a PR representative in the organization. He should also distinguish between advertising and public relation activities and be in a position to discuss various activities that surrounds the field of public relation agencies.

As stipulated the key responsibility of the PR officer is to promote XYZ and its technologies in Mexico. Previously, the company had been forced to withdraw its operations in Latin America and Mexico resident are discontented about the potential exposure to radio isotope materials produced by the company. Therefore, the first step would to dispel fear among the Mexicans through elaborate PR strategies that include social responsibility activities and elaborate partnership with the local communities in environmental preservation (James & Rajendran, 2013). This is intended to portray the organization as an environmentally cautious organization and community-centric organizations. The company may also engage in the recruitment of local people in the production facilities of the company to address the current socio-economic issues affecting the locality by reducing unemployment.

Changing the image of a company is not a simple process. It requires concerted efforts from the management and other concerned stakeholders.  In an effort to revamp and develop the image of the company, it is expected that immediate results may reduced in the short-run but for long-term results, the company need to be committed to social responsibility and sustainable development. Through sustainable development, the company will be able to reduce the amount of radio isotopes it releases to the environment and through social responsibility, the company will be able to gain acceptance from the local people. It is projected that in three years of operations the company will have changed its image.

Retaining employees and talents is the key objective of any organization (Smith, 2013).  Therefore, all efforts will be dedicated to recruiting and maintaining the right types of employees. However, it is possible that the PR manager to resign due to the immense challenges.  When such as case occur, it is advisable to search talents with the organization. Recruiting employees from within the organization guarantee of the organization of employees who are conversant with not only with the current operations of the organization but also with the challenge the organization is facing.
