Seeing Slowness as a Cosmic advantage in a world of Rush hours.

It was at the last Crow of the cockerel that Adenuga jumped out of his old wooden and wooless bed into the bathroom. He burst out within 10 minutes, jumped into his rumple pants. Took his backpack, climbed hastily on his bicycle and raced to work.

He just got a new Job last week at, a Chinese Bakery. Only for him to arrived at the entry point and discovered he was not with his Pass card. "Argh!" "Hell no!" He screamed and shadow boxed the air in frustration. As thoughts of him possibly loosing his job raced across his mind...... To Be continued.

Now, this looks like a familiar experience we all have gone through as a result of rushing over things. It almost impossible to have a clear thinking when you are rushing.
In life, you can possibly outrun difficult situations and challenges by being slow. You might want to know how?. Let's take a clue from the earth, it's orbit around the Sun is very slow, yet it has completed thousands of journeys across the sun, despite the plethoras of orbital challenges ranging from eclipses and possible celestial threats.

What we call slow in many instances is not slow, but a facilitating surge of speed in another dimension. The ability to learn from the tortoise by never concerning yourself with your pace. But learning from every step taken. This is so because the root of a tree beneath the ground is more stronger than the leaves hanging on the branches.

Being slow, will give you an extra eye to see what others in their haste will never observe. And additional ear to hear what others cannot hear no matter how faint.
As getting to a destination safely is of more superior benefits than getting there fast. Amazon made losses in their first 13 years but have now become the largest retailers, For seven years, Facebook ran without making any money.

The well celebrated apple today, it took over 30 years to build Apple. There are other companies like, Amazon, Facebook and Apple. The amazing thing about this companies is that while people thought they were slow. They saw the future and believe it, and the understood pigs can give birth in every three months cycle. But the elephant has to be slow with its pregnancy for 22 months.

Shocking news is that, at birth, a baby elephant weighs more than a fully grown pig. So what you call Slow is another name given to patience. It is a blessing that only those who are slow see it as Slow.

Slow - like owls stutter wisdom, has its means to an end - eventually. If one wants to stuff face full of food, indigestion is bound to say, 'Hi, got a pill?' If each taste is what matters, whether alone or in company, far fewerlines between the brows will appear. Rush is tush, take life calmly: 'calm' doens't cause heart attacks, bewilderment or getting lost in a fog. Slow has that 'so what, give it a try' kind of feel to a day that was falling apart. Perhaps. Fine writing, yours - best set a debate and see if one starts or- time just lets the poet take his or her time.
