Dying Love

Dying Love

A Poem by Winged_Raven
"

I wrote this on October 19, 2011 early in the morning in a low mood

"

Walking through frozen trees,

Stopping suddenly as so does the breeze,

No one around to mend a shattered heart,

As she slowly falls apart.

Wishing for some hope,

Knowing nothing will help to cope,

Running to get away from the past,

Stopping at her final task.

Casing the sword up high,

Tearing apart those evil prides,

Holding back the tears of innocence,

Slashing away the life that was a coincidence.

To love, to hate,

That is her fate,

Now the sword lay in the mud,

Dripping with all her blood.

I really liked this piece, has a nice flow to it. I tend to go for darker pieces, so I like how this ended. Good job. :)
