Thoughts on caring for loved ones...

             GUARDIAN

 

 An angel I am not, and wings I do not bear

but as for guarding over you I will always be there

 

You are now but a helpless child, someday you'll be a man,

even as that time comes you need never have concern

as I will forever be by your side

 

You may not always see me, or hear my voice in your ears

but in your heart you will feel me for I would never leave there

 

You will forever have memories of all the times we have shared,

keep them close to your heart as you can always find me there

 

Never fear my child, for you will be watched over, not only by me

but by many others so much higher, that already have you safe in their care

 

Keep your heart open, find the peace within, & accept what gifts you are given

Never forget to show, Love, Hope and Kindness to those who do not have it,

and you and I will be sure to meet again

 

In a place so much nicer, where hope is already a given, and there will be no starving,

havoc will not even exist, and harmony will be the thing that we all live in

I think I need to find some different words for, always and forever, that will still go with the flow... what do you think?

Always alternatives? ~~ any time; eternally; invariably; perpetually

Forever althernatives? ~~ eternally, aeon also eon; or perhaps infinitely? I do love the symbol for eternity and the ankh as well.

Don't know if any of these words will flow the way you desire but, they might inspire other words to use?

Such perfect advice in a time like ours. There's so much in this poem I'm going to take with me, because it perfectly describes the relationship between mother and child.
