You helped me Out of the Dragons' Lair

stayed Close by

kept us Safe without a Care

on What Could Be

you Lived Life Along With Me

 

You were a Father to My Children

with Not even A Second Thought 

you Took Us In and Loved Us All

 

You are King Of The Castle

as I Am Your Queen

Treated Better Than I've Ever Been

 

You Built a Moat,

stood Guard at the Turret

watched out for Any Evil that Could Hurt Us

 

So much Time Has Passed

our Castle is smaller as

the Kids Are Grown

and now have Babies Of Their Own

 

What comes Next

what the Future Holds

THe poem is real sweet and I could tell that all in capital u wanted to emphasize to him what he really meant and where...

Im glad u have someone who loves u for u and treats u so well....and then also more importanly...accept ur children as his own...

Mushy is perfectly all right! I've done mushy too! It matters only how he feels about it since you wrote it primarily for him; and I'm sure he loved it! But yes, I also feel that the capitalisation was not necessary, more's the message than anything and hmm...capitalize the first letter of every line. But for me the sentiment came gushing out for one audience alone that mattered to you...his heart and eyes! Take care!

Awww this is wonderfully cute. Very romantic indeed, and I'm sure your Knight in Shining Armor loves it! :-) One question though: is there any rhyme or reason to the capitalized words? It seems a little random to me, and it distracted me from reading the poem as a whole. Is there any logic behind it I don't understand?
