You sang by Evanescence inspired me

My night sky
soothes my soul
as I gaze upon those stars

My night sky
whispers to me
love on the winds
~
My night sky
shines brighter than any sun
warms me like no other has

~

My night sky
saddens my heart
as lightning lashes out at me
~
My night sky
darkens more with every thunderclap
more ominous as the storm rages
~
My night sky
drenches me
as drops of teardrop-sized rain falls from me

~

You are my night sky
Thru the good
Thru the bad
~
You are my night sky
Thru the light
Thru the storm
~
You, my night sky,
are always by my side when I call
and know I'm always here for and with you night and day
