Let Mercy Come

Let Mercy Come

A Poem by WindSinger

Let mercy come and wash away all that we've done.

To bring back the peace and love we all seek.

Let mercy come and wash away all the emptiness

that plagues the minds and hearts of those in modern society.

Let mercy come and cradle humanity in her graceful abode.

Her intentional presense eases hostility, eases hate, and brings

with her a mysterious promise of unconditional love.

With a firey passion for all life.

The sweetness of her word like the blessing of

pollen upon the earth.

Her presense an honor as she treads softly upon our Mother's breast.

Let mercy come and open the wounds that never heal,

and with her healing touch allow those wounds to heal.

Let mercy come and peel the layers of pain and paint you put over yourself.

Allow mercy to slowly uncover the light of who you are.

Let mercy peel open your heart, and open you to a new world.

Let mercy wash away your pain and, renew you.

Let mercy give you her hand.

Let mercy come.
