What makes a true man or true woman?

I have come to the realization that what makes a true man or woman is not his/her actions and/or thoughts.  Those are mere results of a way of being that most do not understand, nor have a good example of.  This way of being comes from the essence of our beings to the fabric of our lives and transforms the world around us.  It comes from a way of being that is whole and sanctified, any other way has counter productive results.  Being a true man or woman develops from experience and example.  Finding a true man or woman is not only difficult in the sense that there are so few that exist but that there are many that claim to be and even seem to be.  That mimick what a man or woman is suppose to be but, truely do not understand the concept of what being a man or woman is about.  Being a man or woman in our generation is not a particularly easy task since we live in a country ruled by over grown children.  When a person is a man or woman there is a wholeness to that person that is undeniable, and that is something that can never be broken or taken away.  That wholeness comes from a connection to a Higher Source whatever it may be, and until that wholeness is achieved.  You are and will always remain half alive or as I have seen already dead.  So what are you....a man or woman?
