Boston Kids

Boston Kids

A Poem by ImperfectXme
"

just came up excuse mistakes

"
In the slums of Boston
All one can see is havoc
Kids smoking,drinking,pulling triggers
Little girls engaging in sexual content
Babys with Mommas who are only fifteen
Drastic but no one really ever told these kids whats up
Didn't know right from wrong
So who' to blame for their bad luck

They say "school isn't for me"
so when they went job searching not even burger king would hire them
so they aspire to sell drugs because there is no age limit, and you don't need a degree just a scale and baggies
Hustlers at the age of fourteen, but some didn't even get to see fifteen
and their moms are stressing because there babies been dropped 6ft deep
They cant sleep, cry for there dead kids, asking God what went wrong?
When she knows, she was never there to stop her son from doing wrong
