From the Depths

From the Depths

A Poem by Bill O. Writes
"

From the perspective of a liar. From someone who preys upon weakness. They can leave you feeling with no soul.

"

I am the tide

I am the wave

Should your bridge collapse

I'll whisk you away

I am the sand

I am the shore

Let yourself sink in

You may worry no more

I am your house

I am your bed

You should lay you down

Just rest your head

I am the collector

My job is to reap

My embrace is a lie

Now go to sleep

Thanks for the read and review! Glad it worked as intended lol :)
Such deceptive lines… it seems like it's leading you through a love poem until the final stanza's chilling lines.
