~

I caught the moon

peeking over the eastern

horizon as the sun was

painting the western sky

in vibrant colors

I guess the moon loves

a beautiful sunset too

A tale of natural romance and beauty. Maybe the sun is an appreciator of art or a voyeur watching the sun undress. Oh my maybe this tells too much of me. Oh well Will this was clever and most artistic any way you look at it. Loved it

Both sunsets and sunrises can be exceptionally beautiful
I often look at the beginning of 'Lawrence of Arabia' just to watch that shot of the morning sun cracking the wide, flat, desert landscape.
I see Texas is getting hammered these days

A very imaginative poem dear Will. You remind me of the profound effect the beauty of the solar system has on our psyche. Our thoughts revolve around it so often and they are replete with such deep symbolism.
The sunset you painted is breathtaking with both the sun and the moon in the scape and would elate the most downcast soul. Great Poem!
