I just read and reviewed Mou's poem "Driftwood" which you should check out if you get a chance, and remembered I had written this one a while back so I thought I would share it. I hope you like it.

I really like this one, Will. One of my favorite songs has to deal with the subject matter, "Acadian Driftwood" by The Band. But I enjoyed the metaphor employed and the comparisons drawn. Nicely done, poet. F.
The story of a life well lived is finely composed in this little poetic gem. The poet paints a first class picture of his life through stunning imagery. As I read this very powerful poem I visualised the piece of driftwood on the beach and drifted along with the storms of life which the poet endured. Superb inking! Thank you for sharing Willweb...

You humble me with your words. Thank you Marie for your visit and wonderful comment
'Beauty in this poetry' is bright and loud enough to be found seamlessly! Thank you dear poet for the mention. 'Driftwood' was a word in my poem that spoke for a while (or at the end) but you've drawn the 'tears and stories' of every Driftwood. It is priceless!
