of beauty found

so often chased in borrowed time 

these moments form and then arise 

to capture words in lyric'd rhyme 

of beauty found in someone's eyes 

for this and that may come to be 

alas, a line 'round nether parts 

if in the light you find you see 

those gazing souls and beating hearts 

'pon heaven’s skies of gentle blue 

or fern leaf green cast o’er the miles 

neath chocolate mansions, darkened view 

as hazel dreams in violet smiles 

for where you look is where you find 

a mesmerizing scene unfold 

in colors offered to remind 

desires of your world behold 

so, dare not blink, o’ lest to lose 

majestic portals, shimmered ease    

of sanity to not refuse 

as precious glimpses come to please 

when here is found that borrowed time 

is more than we could realize 

 to know the message in this rhyme 

of beauty found in someone's eyes
