Stardust and streamers,

a small ristorante

A bottle of wine

and a nice plate of fish

 

Soft conversation,

a day in September

Italian twilight,

an afternoon wish

 

Calabria beaches,

seaside encounters

Kayaks and caverns,

an island retreat

 

Moonlight sonata,

sunrise and coffee

Toes in the sand

and everything sweet

 

Bésame Mucho

upon the piano

North to Siena,

a warm autumn eve

 

On the Piazza,

hand in hand strolling

Dreams can come true

if you only believe

Will this poem set a tone a particular setting and scene. It was quaint and at the same time familiar. It took me back years and only lacked the old brick oven at the restaurant with the candle on the table for two and checked red and white table cloth. A most beautiful dream Will

Thanks Soren. Yep, was in an Italian restaurant the other night and thought, red and white checkered tablecloths and the wax covered Chianti bottles would be nice.

This is a marvel daydream, but in actuality my whole family was just in Italy on Lake Maggiore…… so o this is close to my heart… and very dreamy I might say…. Italy is one if my FAVS and we will continue to find her glories each time we return…. Love,y daydreaming Will….
