What if I,

came rolling through your pasture

 

Touched your hair,

like summer whispers on the breeze

 

You are all,

of every wildflower

 

As you take your bloom,

beneath the cedar trees

 

What if life,

were singing through your petals

 

As you bend your stem,

to reach your song to me

 

I will always,

look through greener pastures

 

Find your beauty,

a wildflower growing free

The garden speckled with wild flowers has dozens more butterflies too, willweb. We agree with how one's garden should be, could be. Hope more rain will be dropping by soon. Not Florida weather however, must be horrific.

The couplet format works well here will. A truly romantic write with lovely imagery. Wildflowers have their own unique beauty. Very nicely penned.

This poem had a softly flowing, breeze like touch to it. The breeze loves the wildflowers and whispers and caresses them. Such is the bond between a beloved and her lover. A very fascinating and beautiful expression of love.

Well Will, I would put on my finest southern belle accent and say "Will you unhand me sir? I'm not that type of lady! 😊
Although I do find wildflowers to be one of the loveliest surprises in nature, that have been known to slow my roll to a standstill, as I pause my journey to breathe in eau du nature at its finest and sigh how good life can be, before plodding merrily on my way again.
Well, I say plodding, but we all know I really meant skipping! 😊
