Wasted rhymeA Poem by willwebWritten to the image. Credit to Amy Brown for the imageA dress in mauve, a
windswept perch, the blotted heavens
claim the fall On balanced stones, a
mystic lurch, a raven’s nest, the
foolish crawl Upon a pier of granite dreams, with five alone to reach
the peak Ribbons float with
simple seams, alas the wingless tend
to speak Colored visions paint
the sky, keeping pace, atone the
stance Finding feathers wafting
by, drifting to a dead
romance All alone, this clouded
face, as they play the
moisture’d day Worries lost you cannot
trace, fortunes found eternal play Nothing but the misted
pink, shades of gray, an empty
smile Delivered moments sent
to think, fantasies in broken
style Reach to grasp the feel of
night, wallowing neath a full
moon shine Thoughts of love in
words to write
