What I know...I think

A poetic tongue twister

This is what I think I know or what I know I think

Dust afloat a windy sky will cause my eyes to blink

Roads that lead to nowhere find there’s nowhere else to go

This is what I know I think or what I think I know

 

Another thing I think I know or know I think...I think

Roses bloom in pink and white and often white and pink

Rivers in the summertime are often formed by snow

Just another thing I think or think I know...I know

 

One more thought I think I thought, a thought I know I think

Snowy rivers send the flowers something good to drink

Dusty pink the roses on a nowhere road they grow

This is what I know I think, not what I think I know

And just so you know, ELP and Yes were my two faves. I saw them together in Philadelphia. then saw the individually. Funny story, one show, The Eagles opened for Yes and pretty much got boo'd off the stage. Yes fans don't want no country music.

The Eagles certainly don't deserve that! But that's a pretty poor pairing. There was something going on over there in Brittain during the seventies. Amazing poetry and musical prowess combined with modern production. Glad to know you hear it. Hard to go to concerts anymore. I was going to see Yes for a third time a few years ago ... 350 for a ticket! What kind of future is this? First time I saw them I think it was seven bucks.

I think you are right. When we went to concerts, they were called dance concerts, 9.00 tickets and open seating with no chairs on the floor. Just find your spot and hang out.
As for the Eagles, they were unknown at the time, just starting out.
