I wrote a poem on my heart

I wrote a poem on my heart

A Poem by willweb
"

Triple-acrostic

"

Inspiration finds my heart in verses penned, cursive as a dream,

when words become most anything, expressing what I hope to say.

Rose petal whispers scented sweet, read in perfumed phrases, as aroma

offerings sift ‘pon breezes on springtime mornings amidst a fern leaf

tinted a shade of emerald, effervescently becoming a weary dawn’s relief.

Enchanted visions of your beauty silently greet me as I rise.

Acoustic symphonies composed of devotion float feathery, filtering the sweetest music.

Poetic breaths waft through arbors, invitingly enticing desires to reflect

on moments born and shared, longings felt deeply within,  wishes I

encounter as my mind meanders, lingers, like strings of a cello,

melodic motions, capturing moonbeams in evening shadows, dancing in the rain.

Ornate visions, pastel painted of delicate smiles, adorned in lipstick traces,

nary a blemish nor worry witnessed, as bluebirds sing sonnets free,

methodically atop evergreen branches, windswept images, sky colored gifts to beckon.

Yes, love lives in the timeless promises, the cherished pleasures felt

happily within these lines, penned here to express my feelings that

endlessly wrap themselves around you, limitless in their vast breadth, ergo

anchored to your heart, proudly, openly, and at lonely times, desperately

reaching for anything that will verify my love, sending an echo

to the one I adore, eternally, my always and forever…you.

I was challenged (double dog dared) by Linda Marie Van Tassell to write a triple-acrostic. I can tell you this was no easy task. I thought my mind was going to implode

Her’s is absolutely beautiful. Here is the link if you’d like to read it. https://www.writerscafe.org/writing/linmarvan/338890/

Love the constant tone of the poem, it has a natural flow and rhythm to it. I visualized every word, it is almost like you crafted a painting. And how you connected it all with finding love or maybe it is the love you have for the reader, either way it was professionally written. Good work.

Will this surely took not only a lot of time but thinking. The poem by itself was beautiful and a tribute to whom ever it was written for. The puzzle was well planned and a wonderful message.

Willweb! Oh my god! This is absolutely genius! I never thought of a triple acrostic poem, this was so much of fun to solve... and my, I have alot of time on my hands don't I to solve it? Pure creativity shines in this poem, its exceptionally clear that you took Linda's challenge seriously, and you delivered this poem exceptionally. The three messages are emailed to you because I did not want to give it away.

This is so beautiful and it sums up the poem quite well. I'd have to say I spent the longest figuring out message two because I had to count the words... and messed up quite a bit, but it was all worth it! I love this! So creative, and thank you so much for sharing it with us writers!

More interactive poetry. I love it! I too have written a poem. But it was with my heart not on it. That would hurt! My pen is sharp. That's one of the three. I'm reading for more. One moment please.....

I'm not going to give it away but if you read my comment thread for the mystery I think you'll figure it out.

Good poem here BTW. I think my spider is caught in your web. I'll have to change my avatar until it gets free. Billigami thought you were just a big, but it turns out you are arachnid as well.
