Waiting on the sunrise

I stood outside

    this chilly

  winter morning

      waiting on

   the sunrise

         so that

    the skies

         would be

      as bright

            as my heart

      that forever

   shines

     because

           of you

In my part of the rorld we woke to one of those rare, soft, sound deafening, thick, fluffy, white snows, that collect on the tree limbs,and define the leafless trees in such a way that must be magical . With a heavy blackish sky behind it, I could easily open my eyes and been tranformed to some far away magical little universe. Nice poem Will thank you

I esp love the seaside sunrises at pre Dawn where the light changes so slow then quickly the birds awaken fly over in swarms then later the sunrise

This was just sweet as dripping honey. Some people fill our lives with light. My mother's favorite song was always, "You are my sunshine" The words are engraved on the tombstone above her and dad's resting place. Now my youngest daughter (whom mother never got to meet) goes around singing, You are my sunshine. Some things live on.
