An idol, an icon

call him what you will

To me he was special,

the music to fill

 

Harmonies sung amidst

thoughts running free

Sometimes the one

but usually, the three

 

Now with the Byrds

through the heavens to fly

A sad day indeed,

David Crosby, goodbye

Author's Note

David Crosby passed away today 1/19/23 at the age of 81. I was a huge fan. He will be missed.
This was written quickly, I will probably reread it tomorrow and change some things.
