We were poetry

We were poetry

A Poem by willweb

We were poetry

beautiful verses bound together

on soft breezes of love and desire

but sadly

now nothing more than

yesterday’s stanzas

torn and scattered on the winds...

drifting slowly apart

Isn't that the whole story of art, beauty, and love? The beginning, the middle, and the end? As artists, I wonder if we aren't more susceptible to goodbyes....

It sure does seem that way.
A very beautifully expressed, sad and sorrowful reality.
To be scattered in the winds, perhaps to be carried to new places, new things....
I'd like to think there was a beginning in this ending....

Always here to read and appreciate your words, dear friend. You're welcome.
Yesterday's stanzas are tomorrow's realities, my friend:) I strongly believe every time we fashion a line we propel those stanzas to a grand furtherance!
