Anybody up for a little traveling?

She asked me where I’d like to go

if money didn’t matter

I said I didn’t really know,

my mind began to scatter

 

Toronto, Athens, maybe France,

Aruba sounded fine

Casablanca, such romance

or Napa for some wine

 

London, Dublin, Amsterdam,

Malta, New York City

Belize, Chile, Nottingham,

yes, all of them are pretty

 

Nova Scotia, Tokyo

Jamaica for their beaches

Hawaii, Thailand, Mexico

and other far-off reaches

 

Florida or the Jersey shore,

  the Colorado mountains

Italy we could explore,

the rolling hills and fountains

 

But if you really want to know

the place, the time, the weather

It doesn’t matter where I go

as long we’re together

Such a fun poem will. At the moment the only place that I would really like to visit above all others is Finland. I want to see the Northern Lights. That is an item on my bucket list. Oh and I have yet to visit Venice but may be doing that later this year. Your final stanza is the perfect ending by the way.

your list had me reminiscing about all those places, with the possible exception of Toronto, which I've rather sick of at the moment.
and as i see J added a suggestion to where, let me chime in with Singapore. If you love to eat, want to feel safe in a huge city, and in need of the sun...no better place.

born in NY city....and been to Jersey shore.
Yes, good places to visit, but not sure I would go back except for a visit myself.

But I would suggest Tobago...quite beautiful it is.
the Carribean a great place to snorkel.
