chrysanthemum sighs

Rose petal kisses

on daffodil skies

Apricot petals

in tulip display

Jasmine aromas

to start out the day

 

Buttercup giggles

beneath maple trees

Gardenia melodies

scenting the breeze

Peach blossom whispers

of marigold hue

Happily saying

good morning to you

Oh for those chrysanthemums to sigh at me and rose petal kisses on my cheek.
We have had gale force winds saying good morning to us and licks of snow and ice. But I have to say your verse still brought warmth and thoughts of summer. Thanks Will for posting this lovely piece.
