Ok, when posting this I was given three choices on who could read it..."Everyone", "Teen" or "Mature". It did not give me a choice between male and female. It is directed towards females if I am being honest. As well..I am too old to be addressing "teens" that way and "mature" can be taken several different ways so..."everyone" it was...read it at your own risk (or my own risk). : )

After I got done smiling, and reading your notes which I appreciate, I thought of all the types of kisses. Kiss of death till you're out of breath. Hershey's kiss everybody. There's bliss in a kiss. And I guess I want to believe this was about an awkward moment after the first kiss and worrying about the smell of breath. But after reading it again I realized this is powerful bit of brevity that leads this reader to remember the anticipation of what is really the most intimate thing we do. I liked how the title lures you in the wham ... that's all you get! I liked what I got.

Your final conclusion was the correct one though "Kiss of Death" was a cool concept and also a Sherlock Holmes movie title. : ) I have written numerous kiss related poems so I guess I am obsessed with the physical touching of lips. : )
