Note: The first line of this poem is the first lyric sung on Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Tarkus. Listened last week, had the line stuck in my head and had to use it somehow.

i was just talking to my son about them .. and how Emerson was a levitation mystic ;) http://youtu.be/uSm5IQFaTZA
i was up early and let the dog out and while waiting for the princess to finish her morning ablutions .. the clouds were parted enough to allow a few stars through ... the dawn still hasn't arrived but your poem inspires me .. not to miss it!
and to appreciate the warm flannel affections that i just heard getting out of bed :) .. very enjoyable poem

Nice use of words. I like the places and visions create by your words. I like the opening lone. Good to open the poetry with a question. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thanks so much Coyote, the opening unfortuantely was not mine, but I am thrilled you enjoyed this.
Amazing! Will, you slipped back to my era and leaped forward into your romance at its best, this one is stunning in its beauty and you're the best romantic poet ever :)
