Can this be love?

Following a heart’s path

Ascending with each step

Longing her beauty

Traversing dangerous outcroppings

Jagged surfaces smoothed

Still climbing

Scaling the highs

Leaving the lows behind

Staring upward

Seeing her smile

Going for it

Navigating emotions

Dodging rock slides

Using every aching muscle

Escalating feelings

Pushing through

Knowing it is near

Reaching the apex

Claiming the summit

Standing atop the mountain

Feeling exhilarated

Full of life

Young again

Scanning the horizon

Dreaming the future

Breathing the air of affection

Realizing it is a narrow peak

Careful footing, steady

Holding on to her

Not looking down

For fear of falling

After everything done

To reach this point

Can this be love?

I don't know if it's truly true love... I'll tell you when I get there lol
but this is absolutely romantic and I have always believe that love is something worth fighting for... I know for a fact that I would do what it takes for my special one 'when he decides to show up' lol

fear will always be on the back of my head screaming his lungs out, but the most important thing is to never look down...

Interesting Metaphors and some good emotional impact here. I'll give you some insight that took me a few years to figure out. Young men often fall in love with p***y rather than women as they can't tell the difference between them and some men never learn the difference. It took me a while to learn. Be good bro
