Special deliveryA Poem by willweb
Without you I am empty, like an unused envelope in an over crowded mail room kicked to the side by a christmas card spreading good cheer
Footprints address my face and postage due receipts pass me by in postmarked fashions seeking a stamp of approval on this silent night
But I keep reminding myself, come rain or sleet or dark of night tomorrow will deliver a new day when you will return to sender and fill me with love, sealing it with a kiss
