Ripped apart

Ripped apart

A Poem by willweb

Frantically cleaning up the sawdust

from the spinning blade

cutting through my emotions,

a thin clean line

directly between me and you

And sweep as I might,

I still can not get all that

remains in the corners

of my heart -

and probably never will
