Invisible Force (Destroying the good)

Invisible Force (Destroying the good)

A Poem by willweb

With an invisible force

the reasons bewilder on fading faces

Disappearing poets

falling of the edge

or climbing into the fresh air

where breathing becomes easy again

Dark clouds change their names

trying to infiltrate these hearts

naked and sitting there,

asking questions of the same theme

erasing smiles

while holding their pen (pen?)

Breaking ranks, taking liberties

assuming that they want it,

when in your crooked state of mind

you weave worries which

become fears imploding,

destroying the good, leaving the bad

Trust it seems is built of feathers

wilting quickly in the rain

littering these paths

strewn of good intentions

plucked into little pieces

in the most inhumane fashion

Why can’t people just be nice?

Sometimes, poets are thrown to the side due to new "incredible" authors and other times, great poets leave due to the behaviour of others, Will this is great, beyond great actually... something I can relate to.

Thank you so much Yuki. I am happy you liked this one.
Why indeed?
We often assume the worst in people rather than choosing a brighter, probably more accurate, reality for ourselves and those we once called friends...
Yet, we can also assume those who are not here may in fact be breathing a "fresh air" they needed to survive.
I also don't understand poets changing names or persona and trying to deceive people. This is an odd phenomena.
I guess there will always be people who fart in a crowded café"... ;)
Perfectly done Will.

Thank you so much David Scott. Fart in a crowded cafe, I like that.
amen. I've said this often in my sojourn here at the cafe. I can't run a persona. I'm here to write. I'm here to encourage. And I'm here sometimes just to have a chuckle or a cry with fellow writers. Its hard to do that in the midst of a food fight.
Great sentiment in this one Will.

Thanks so very much Tammy. I am happy you liked this one.
'Trust it seems is built of feathers' is the way to describe the story behind this poem, I think some of us are only to aware of what happened here, many more should know but why trouble them, ignorance can be bliss and should be so, poets disappearing or were they ever there, just some willful fantasy of a distorted mind, when they are gone its because they never existed, sad times, lets hope for brighter days :)

yeah! I was thinking that :P
Ah, the question that will never truly be answered, my friend. We all SHOULD be kind to one another. No reason not to be. However, that is not the way it goes. Jealousies and competitiveness enter stage left and there the trouble begins. Good intentions stay sweet only when all involved are honest and kind. You said it so well. Lydi**

Thanks so much Lydi. Some things just frustrate me to know end.
Too many good poets have left here because of the bad behaviour of others.
Why can't people just be nice? Good question Will.

Seems I have all the questions, wish I could find the answers. Thank you so very much Ana.
I am very sad to see good friends go due to some poison floating around here. I hope you will stay and fight the fight. Now, as for the IDs dropping off like flies, they were never real, they were always fake, just a shadow of a lie.
