"glazed in debris
of evaporated tear drops,
never reaching the ground"
I love these lines, so creative and unique. But then most of your poetry is and I am learning to expect the unexpected before I click on any of your RRs. This feels like an identity crisis to me, where nothing can really show us the way. Think i have spouted on about instinct to you before so will shuttup now :) Loved this. Penny

I can relate to your words...searching...confusion...not knowing which path to choose and hoping when we do choose it will be the right one.
Outstanding writing my friend, which I have come to expect from you.

Ah, if only it were so easy. If only the dotted lines would lead us to the destination we are meant to belong. As it is though, trial and error come into play and often the road we choose is not the one that feels right. The metaphor here is great, Will. Lydi**

reminds me of a seen at the end of "Castaway"
those decisions especially later in life when we have experienced much...those can really be difficult...especially if we still aren't sure who we are supposed to be.

This is a great piece, eloquently told...you've given fresh insights to the image and the concept of a crossroads, and made it relateable for many people I'm sure...I know I relate to it very much...I love the evaporated tears, it drove home a feeling of despair, even fear, in debating which way to go...and will we regret the choice we make? Well done Will.

When I figure out which way is up, I'll let you know...love this one Will, I can relate. That second stanza is my favorite but I really enjoyed the entire journey of scrambling to find your way.

"Crossroads" is my all time favorite song .. its history is rich with devastation and pain and decision making .. your poem immediately brought it to mind .. the thing that stands out .. aside from the difficulty .. is that this person is searching .. stuck .. but still searching .. and i like that .. it means there is still hope :)
