This made me giggle and was so witty. I love your sense of humour Will, you have a crackin' sense of humour, you're hilariously funny. I loved it.

Hahaha, funny, extremely witty and set with tones of sadness--a recipe to devour.
My favourite lines would be:
"Infomercials keep me company, sort of
the half empty bottle
speaking to me in spanish "

now, there's a combination I've never tried!
I hope you'll reconsider, and stay. I think we all could use a break from this place from time to time, but you are indeed, quite a talent!

I popped on here to read and relax, overdosed on mindless gush that made me feel absolutely nothing, but platitudes flow like rivers, and started thinking I need to close my account as I am so f**king bored and then I found this. Beautifully written, has depth and is something the reader can actually understand and relate to. Isn't that what poetry is about? Thank you, willweb, for sharing your talent here. Penny

There's a part of me that is worried about you after reading that last line, Will. You portray that feeling of loneliness so clearly, putting the reader in your place and state of mind. Personally, I'm a Monday kind of person...

I always feel your work deep down will...I'm not sure if you saw my last poem...you don't have to look at it, I'll just tell you it's called 'Death To The Weekend'...I think we have similar feelings on that particular time of the week...it's considered the most fun and awaited time of the week to so many people, but they depress the hell out of me...I loved the 'clock' stanza, that sums it all up so well, especially the last line, which is wittily bittersweet...as always, you just seem to write things that I relate to effortlessly...fine work my friend.

Oh Will, I do hope this is not about you... This was full of drama and emotion - the structure of your poem made you poem so powerful and hit me like a tonne of bricks, wow.

Ouch, the end is harsh indeed. I wasn't expecting that. Very dramatic, and I hope it is not reflective of the poet's frame of mind, but just his character in the poem.
