Sweet Dawn Kisses

Sweet Dawn Kisses

A Poem by willweb

Woven patterns of

tapestry blushings,

threaded pairings of

non-metallic shimmering

wait beyond -

soft feathered breaths, hazed visions,

flowing on a pale horizon,

weeping within a forecast of darkness -

dreaming only of the light

draping gun metal skies

in effervescent brocade blooms

Moon glow sonatas

echo between pearl drop

starscapes whispering

a fond farewell -

and a songbird choir

harmonizes with glistening dew drops,

reflecting sweet dawn kisses

on plum petal cheeks

as morning returns

once again -

finding you

in my arms

Oh lord, how romantic are you as of late, Will? I am loving this side of you. What a gorgeous morning it would be to wake in your lovers arms.

waking in reliable arms of love .. the result of commitment .. packed with colorful, imaginative metaphors .. enough for 20 poems (well maybe not quite 20; but lots) ... :) very well done .. from falling to sleep to waking .. such visions you give us .. nice one!

Thank you E. for your nice words to me. Sometimes I do wake - sometimes just a little too late.

This is a romantic write. Very sweet and tender with your word caresses. I have to say, you did a great job with the imagery as well. The vibe of this is so soothing and sweet. Great write!! xo :)

A sweet romantic write that I might actually call "poetic", particularly like the lines
?Moon glow sonatas
echo between pearl drop
starscapes whispering
a fond farewell"
