Here it waits, my heart, snapshot moments,

falling hard into this photograph of your smile

Redemption follows desperate measures

in lace buttoned fantasies of celluloid settings

Filling dreams with Kodachrome kisses,

turning the lens until perfect focus reaches

simultaneous fluttered shutters,

clarity in an affectionate frame

Pictured phrases develop,

soft sighs exposed,

nothing negative forms beneath the red light

as your color comes into view

and I stand in the darkroom of your essence

captured deep in this process

of loving a two dimensional you

with a three dimensional me

It's amazing how polarizing (no pun intended) photographs can be...they can bring out the happiest and saddest feelings and memories in us...I totally adore the imagery you've scattered throughout this piece, particularly the darkroom themes that close it out...loving a two-dimensional you...that just sums it all up so well...I definitely felt this one my friend...awesome work.
