Somewhere between the rhymes

Somewhere between the rhymes

A Poem by willweb

Desolate,

rubbing my eyes,

blurred and sorrow dampened,

staring at an empty core of

what was once poetry

coursing through my veins,

that is now something dark,

molasses consistency and color,

thick, unmoving,

draining me of every verse, every thought

I can no longer breathe

as I wilt on this stem,

once alive with happiness

now dying in the heat

of an overexposed

decaying mind

connected to a heart

that has lost all feeling, numb, nothing

Pins and needles

prickle my skin from the inside,

tissue paper, bruised, scarred

draped on fragile bone

fading to dust

calling the wind

to take me home,

scatter me in the mud

amongst the blank pages

of everything I have ever felt -

pleading - allow me now to rest eternally

somewhere between the rhymes

Interesting seems how you feel take a breath and
rest when we have a stressed over worked mind the Creativity kind
of just gets over worked like a computer with way too much data and
can't think or proses it all at once Because there's too much in the computer
and not enough room and the body will do this when it is thirsty hungry or just
overly tired and existed in the mind where the mind get so tired and needs a break Breath
my friend I do now in then it helps hot tea and a good book or a nap or just watching a funny movie.

this happens listen when your body or the spirit in
you say rest or your heart for that matter my friend
we are like well oiled Machines for give the Example
I live around Car guys it is a habit LOL... so as well oiled
machine's we must allow it to rest refuel like energy sleep
food and water and allow the mind to rest it will drain the
life out of you if you don't focus on the good things in life.

I take a word and rhyme it and it is good
for Writers block but I rarely get it as I take
a break my body will just say no I don't want
to write I need a break and I listen but mostly
it is God saying rest I won't miss use his Gift it is
a blessing from God to be able to write and be inspired
by just about anything so when I must rest I listen.

But this was Quite interesting thank you for sharing
this neat little piece.

This sounds like me on a bad day when
I am trying to push my self way too hard
when I need to relax and slow down in breathe
and smell the roses once in a while. :)

This is very inspiring as well thank you.

I hope things get better my Friend.

Blessings. Kindred poet

:-)
True...
This is interesting, can be about feeling frustrated about writing on either the thoughts coming in or the thoughts drying up, well done.
