Sneeze Cheese

Written for the Dr. Seuss contest

While slicing some cheese

I happened to sneeze

And green stuff went flying about on the breeze

 

It splattered right there

Got some in my hair

My guests were all waiting, now starting to stare

 

So what should I do

All covered in goo

I could call it cheese if it only was blue

 

It’s hard to believe

Wiped my nose on my sleeve

As a wondrous idea my mind did conceive

 

They’re all so trusting

The snot was now crusting

I held back another before it was gusting

 

My thinking solely

And so far from holy

I’ll just tell my friends that it’s fresh guacamole
