One sidedA Poem by willwebMy mornings
should be so much easier now, what used
to be a chore is merely half of a memory When that
alarm clock sings and I toss
and stretch about, kicking my
feet to the chilly floor, preparing my
eyes to accept the rising sun now gleaming
happily through the blinds I yawn once,
maybe twice before falling
back beneath the covers, and crying in
my pillow Because the
mornings are when I am reminded, I now only have
one side of the bed to make © 2014 willwebReviews
