Sisters

Sisters

A Poem by Gypsy Willow
"

Just thinking... Plus, I haven't written in a while (big surprise), so I decided to give it a shot...

"

Through solitude I'm forced to learn
Lessons that matter the most
Of who I am
And what I'll do
And of a future that never can be.

We play so well the wicked game
That few do rarely see
That as we drown
Amongst the crowd
Our souls have withered away.

So well I wear the ghastly paint
That hides my secrets away
Even I can't see
That held too close,
My secret could be my end.

But, as you see, I don't care
I've got a goal in sight
I'll reach the end
Just wait and see
I've never been one to quit.

Author's Note

Gypsy Willow
Eghc haha That is my sound for distaste. I'm not satisfied with this, it is more or less a rough copy. Very little touching up was done. What are your thoughts? Also, should I change all the "I" references to "we"?

About
I've been writing since I was thirteen and it will always be my passion. I really wanted to go to Pratt to major in Creative writing, but that is a dream left for when I have a larger pocket. I am 19 .. more..
